The client for this job is a tremendous artist here in town. She wanted security bars for her windows, a remodeling of the front porch to make it look more contemporary, and two new security doors. We removed the old wrought iron from the porch and replaced it with steel. We also poured a concrete primary step around the existing porch.
When it came to the security doors, the client wanted something different. She made a drawing of a fish that we took to Water Jetting, Inc. They did an awesome job programming the five inch by two-inchsketch into a six foot, six-inchcopper piscine portal. Using copper rivets, we then attached the positive and negative copper cutouts to cold rolled steel. This was a particularly fun job.
