Albuquerque, Airport Area
About the Project

A driveway double gate features raw, corrugated “core ten” metal, distressed rough sawn wood, and a mountain motif in the windows. One photo shows the gate just installed before the outer rusting has begun on the core ten metal; a second photo was taken six months later, showing the rusting and coloration of the entire gate. The rusting does not change the structural integrity of the gate; it will get to a certain darkened state and stop further corrosion. It will never need painting or upkeep.
